Skiing
The landscape in the area offers a wide range of magnificent mountains – from smooth rock formations overlooking the fjords, to alpine peaks surrounding the Trollstigen plateau or in towards Tafjord.
Hiking
Located in an Eldorado of breath-taking peaks, ancient mountain farms and spectacular viewpoints, the area offers hiking experiences for all ages and levels.
Climbing
Several climbing opportunities are given in the area, covering various levels of difficulty. Only a few kilometres further down the river, there is a high rope park with several climbing routes totalling over 1400 meters.
Fjord sightseeing
The Unesco fjords Tafjord and Geirangerfjord are less than an hour drive away from Juvet. You can experience them by car, when hiking or even from a boat. As a bonus, the fantastic mountain road Trollstigen is only a 25-minute drive away.
