The landscape in the area offers a wide range of magnificent mountains – from smooth rock formations overlooking the fjords, to alpine peaks surrounding the Trollstigen plateau or in towards Tafjord.
Exploring the fjord by kayak is a breathtaking experience, offering a combination of dramatic fjord landscapes, rich history, and serene waters. Tafjord is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage area. Unlike the Geirangerfjord, here we are not disturbed by cruise ships or the hustle and bustle of sightseeing boats and other disturbing trafic.
Located in an Eldorado of breathtaking peaks, ancient mountain farms and spectacular viewpoints, the area offers hiking experiences for all ages and levels.
The Unesco fjords Tafjord and Geirangerfjord are less than an hour drive away from Juvet. You can experience them by car, when hiking or even from a boat. As a bonus, the fantastic mountain road Trollstigen is only a 25-minute drive away.
