The food
Local ingredients. Global recognition.
The taste of the valley, the river, and the forest. At Juvet, we let nature set the terms — with locally sourced ingredients and dishes that follow the quiet rhythm of the seasons.

Juvet Landscape Hotel has been awarded a Michelin Key.
The Michelin Guide has, for more than a century, been a hallmark of quality for the world’s finest restaurants. Now, it also recognises hotels that offer truly exceptional experiences. A Michelin Key is awarded to hotels that stand out through their architecture, atmosphere, service, and overall experience.
For us, this distinction affirms what we work towards every day: creating a quiet encounter between people and nature. A stay at Juvet is not only about comfort, but about calm, presence, and architecture that works in harmony with the landscape.
A Michelin Key is an international recognition. For Juvet, it is above all a reminder to continue doing what we believe in — letting nature take the leading role.
A natural culinary treat

From hillside picnics to mountaintop brunches, a riverside cookout or barn house banquet - every meal served by our experienced chefs is a unique and memorable experience.
Exquisite local ingredients
Our head chef is extremely passionate about utilizing local ingredients to give our guests a full taste of the local flavour. Menus are beautifully prepared and tailored for every occasion and season. We source most of the ingredients from local farms and producers in our area.
Regardless of your preferences and requirements – every mouthful is crafted to be an unforgettable and ultimate sensation of taste.
Our restaurant is located in the old Barn house with a lovely terrace facing the river and valley.
Breakfast 8:30-10:00 am
We start the day with delicious bread. To avoid overwhelming you with too many products, we do serve a fine selection of cold cuts, freshly made jam, cereal, homemade scrambled eggs and smoked salmon prepared in the traditional style. In addition to freshly brewed Jacu coffee and tea, we offer locally sourced apple juice from the valley.
Lunch
As our guests are either on their way to their next destination or out to explore, we usually do not offer lunch. We gladly help you find a good local restaurant for or do recommend you to prepare yourself a packed lunch at our breakfast buffet. If you wish to take a hot beverage with you, we are happy to send a thermos flask with you on the way.
Dinner 7:30 pm
We serve dinner at a long table in the cow barn. Conversation can get quite lively around the table. Many of the guests have come a long way and have travelled far and wide, and it’s good to meet over a hearty meal. Even if we come from different countries and different cultures, we easily find common ground and never run out of topics to talk about.
