Short day trips and roundtrips – you don’t have to go far. There is plenty to explore in the area, and there are hidden gems right on your doorstep when you’re staying at Juvet.
River adventures
Experience the refreshing thrill of the Valldøla River!
Explore the complete Juvet adventure with canyoning through the stunning river gorge, concluding in front of our bathhouse (available from the end of July to the end of September).
Alternatively, grab your paddle for an exhilarating rafting trip down the Valldøla River, which takes you all the way down to the fjord.
Skiing
The landscape in the area offers a wide range of magnificent mountains – from smooth rock formations overlooking the fjords, to alpine peaks surrounding the Trollstigen plateau or in towards Tafjord.
Climbing
There are several fantastic climbing areas in the area – with varying degrees of difficulty. Just a couple of kilometers from Juvet is a climbing park with several climbing routes totaling over 1400 meters.
Hiking
Located in an Eldorado of breathtaking peaks, ancient mountain farms and spectacular viewpoints, the area offers hiking experiences for all ages and levels.
Fjord sightseeing
The Unesco fjords Tafjord and Geirangerfjord are less than an hour drive away from Juvet. You can experience them by car, when hiking or even from a boat. As a bonus, the fantastic mountain road Trollstigen is only a 25-minute drive away.
